Nail biting. If ever there were a problem that could bring a grown
woman to tears. We bite our fingernails for many reasons
--boredom, hunger, nervousness and anxiety.  But, don't despair.
There any home remedies that can help you stop biting your nails.
Here is a list of the best ones.

1. Keep them manicured. The reason this works is that,
subconsciously, no one likes to mess something up that they have
just finished making pretty.  If you've just had your hair done, you
don;t want your boyfriend touching it, right? Same principle with
your nails. Polish them with the most beautiful polish you can find.
Put at least twp coats on.  Use a finish coat of clear.  Keep them
trimmed and keep your cuticles pushed back. After all that work,
you won't want to bite into your finished masterpiece as easily.

2. Pepper.Many times we bite into our nails when they begin to chip
or an and catches on something and becomes jagged.. Polish them
with Sally Hansen hard-as-nails or any other nail polish.

Mix pepper in with the nail polish, so it tastes bad if you bite them.





















3. Jello. Drink gelatin drink or eat a lot more Jello . It strengthens
your nails.


4. Chew Gum.  When we humans get anxious, we like to chew. It's
the reason as babies we reached for pacifiers. We want to eat
something when we're nervous. It's one of the natural ways we
soothe ourselves. So, rather than eat your fingernails when those
nervous moments arise, reach for a stick of sugar-free chewing gum.
